Spirulina and our Environment

Green-house gases released from animal protein production have been identified as a major influence to global warming. Not only does Spirulina portray the properties to grow the protein necessary to substitute our demand for animal protein, it’s production acts as a carbon sinkhole that extracts harmful greenhouse gases. Because spirulina is Uni-cellular, the photosynthetic process occurs at the most efficient level possible, therefore, Spirulina farms release breathable oxygen, while animal protein production has devastating environmental effects.

Spirulina is among the most photosynthetically efficient organisms, and It’s cultivation promises one of the most effective means of food production that convey the potential to contribute to reversing climate change. as spirulina does not require fertile land, the majority of spirulina farms are built on arid and remote locations that are not suitable for typical agricultural. Additionally, Spirulina produces 20 times more protein per acre than common protein sources such as beef or soy, while consuming a fraction of water to produce it. Prolina harnesses this unique opportunity by building a sustainable food source that does not impede existing agricultural production.

Improving our environment is among Prolina’s main objectives. Our Spirulina Products are formulated to reflect this priority, by creating desirable consumables that increase the demand for a sustainable food source that is truly capable of making an impact. Our team is conscious of Spirulina’s potential and we have unwavering in its pledge to sustainability. and everything we do is to supports a cleaner, safer and healthier world.
